Another Filipino On The Rise
A reader referred this boy to us and we hope you’ll be more proud of being a Filipino with this kid’s talent. As he wowed the audience and judges alike which include Piers Morgan, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell.
As said, He is a half-pinoy/half-british 10 year old boy (mom is full Filipina)named CHARLIE GREEN who IMHO is more impressive than Madonna. He not only sings well but can also dance, play the keyboards, guitar and flute.
This young swooner called Charlie Green at 10 years old wins over the judges on Britains Got Talent 2008 and audience alike before he even sings a note, with a magical performance of the “Summer Wind”. His smooth performance got the audience on its feet and prompted Amanda Holden to predict he would win the show. More than 11million viewers watched Charlie get voted through to the next round.
This puts him in direct competition with Andrew, who received a standing ovation on April 12. One week later, Andrew has become a global star with more than two million hits for his audition on the video download website YouTube.
The boys could not come from more different backgrounds. Charlie grew up in Worcestershire’s picturesque Droitwich Spa and has received coaching and guidance from his father, who made his name on the BBC show from 1958-78. Charlie has performed at the Royal Opera House at St James’s Palace for the Princess Royal and already has his own website.
