Controversial Couple’s Fault

It seems that even before their teleserye begin its airing, Carmen Soo and Jericho Rosales never left the intrigued zone with yet another controversy much worse than the issue of them being a real couple in real life.This latest buzz blames them for the heart attack of Direk Gilbert Perez.

ABS-CBN of course came to their defense, immediately releasing an official statement about the incident. They cleared Carmen’s and Jericho’s names with said accusations. Especially since the unfortunate incident occurred while they were on the set of “A Time For Us”.

According to them, when Direk Gilbert succumbed to the attack, it was actually Jericho who took the initiative to rush the director to the hospital. In St. Luke’s Medical Center, Carmen was also there and she even stayed with the director’s family as they watch over him.

ABS-CBN/ Star Cinema Productions also denied the rumors that the director has an unwell relationship with his two lead stars. They claimed that even in Malaysia, the two actors have had a good working relationship with Manong Gilbert.

So it is really unfair to both Jericho and Carmen to be blamed since they sincerely stayed on throughout the day. The pair never left Manong’s side, providing whatever support to their beloved director in those crucial moments.

Because of the said happening, the tapings of the co-venture of Malaysian network and the Kapamilya station were temporarily stopped. Direk Jerry Sineneng might be the replacement of Direk Gilbert as he is still fighting for recovery.
