Bea Alonzo is considered lucky for being chosen by ABS-CBN to play the coveted role of Betty La Fea. The management has disclosed that they had their mind set on Bea since they got the right for it,but sine people started the guessing gae, they still went on with the auditions, still Bea got the lead.

When she did,she aced many actresses aspiring for the role of a Columbian lady working for the advertisement agency. Bea will take on the role to the hilt. That means, she’ll be deglamourized immensely.

The project is said to be her prize for remaining loyal to the Kapamilya network. She deserves it anyway.The show though will be adapted to our own culture so it will tackle issues in our country most women face today.

The actress’ big challenge with taking this role is that she’ll be all alone heading the show. There would be no more of her tandem with John Lloyd Cruz. This is the start of the many projects that they may not do together.

Is this really the end of the Lloydie-Bea loveteam?Can Bea meet the expectations of many with regard to her new series?Will she live up to its name and not be blamed for getting the role from significant others like the Songbird herself, Regine Velasquez?
