Catch Pilipinas Got Talent First Semi-Final Round on May 1!

Who among the 36 semi-finalists will get through to the next round of Pilipinas Got Talent?

This Saturday, May 1, six contenders will vye for the much coveted spot in the finals and among the six, only two with the highest number of texts and online votes will be chosen. But it’s still on the judges’ hands (Kris Aquino, Ai-Ai Delas Alas, Freddie M. Garcia) who between the second and third contender with most votes will enter the finals.

Seventeen contestants from Luzon are through to the semi-final round: Alex Carpena, Powerpuffcorn, Allan de Paz, Markki Stroem, Garrett Bolden Jr., Baguio Metamorphosis, Kapidamu Band, Joel “Big Mouth” Amper, Ingrid Payaket, the Velasco Brothers, Ma. Jeline Oliva, Joel Tulabing, Imusicapella Chamber Choir, Geraldine “Fame” Flores, Ruther Urquia, Keith Clark Delleva, and Jovit Baldivino.

The semi-finalists from Visayas are: Luntayao Family Singers, Josephine Aton, Jzan Tero, Goldies n’ Goodies, Carl Malone Montecido, Jhistine and Filemon Baguio, Manolito Saldivar, the Snap Boiz, and Mae Lozada and Anselmo Estillore.

From Mindanao are Hello World dance group, Rolando Ng III, Sherwin Baguion, Florante Castino Inutan, Xavier University Cultural Dance Troupe, Experience Kidz, Reggie Ramirez, Ezra Band, and Rolando Permangil.

The semi-final rounds will air live on ABS-CBN starting May 1 with the first six contenders – Jovit Baldivino, Ruther Urquia, Jhistine and Filemon Baguio, Snap Boiz, Xavier University Cultural Dance Troupe, and Rolando Permangil.

The Pinoy Got talent 1st round of the Semi-Final was great.. but the lighting crew must watch out that we, the televiewers, could not get the full grasp of the performance of some dance groups because of too much light flashes. The dance group from Talisay was supposedly good, but we cannot share the judges’ and the audience’s amazement of the their dance number, because we can barely see their routuines. I hope you would take note of that. Since we, the televiewers, share a bigger part in Voting on who’s got the best performance.
