Voice Invasion
The Filipino teen belter who wowed the world in her Ellen De Generes guesting left the audience dumbstruck when she rendered her version of the Philippine National Anthem at the “Invasion: Philippines vs The World” at the Araneta Colisuem last Sunday.
Fifteen year old Charice, exceeded her contemporary singers as she flawlessly delivered the song in her own way. The latest was that of Kyla in the Pacquiao-Barrera II “Unfinished Business” boxing tilt. It was noted that Kyla got good reviews from the National Historical Institute.
At least she fared far from the not so good outcomes of the Lupang Hinirang rendition. Remember the plain version of Ciara Sotto in the Pacquiao-Morales bout? What about Christian Bautista’s missing lyrics in the ring?
This Little Big Star third placer has a bright future ahead of her. With her powerful voice, hopefully she’ll be able to be in line with the top performers in Tinsteltown.
