Hasty Farewell

I was a blog virgin three months ago so forgive me if I have no idea then who Chikatime was. I was busy fixing this blog and so it was only lately that I found out why Chikatime was and I guess is still famous. I may not like being ridicule but from the looks of it I might as well share my condolences with blogging community for losing such renown spot.

The blog who was the first to ‘exposed’ the Gucci Gang Scandal had already bid farewell in their own site. The hottest scandals and rumors about almost everyone all dished-out by Chikatime-dot-com will no longer be read.

They were forced to close down after three of their editors/writers were arrested for libel charges. Their databases were confiscated by the police pending investigation. This is a warning to all gossipers and rumor bloggersThis is the message in the blogspot:

us chikatime ghels (plus ghey) would like to thank lahat ng nagbasa ng blog namin for the past year. sana kahit papaano na-entertain namin kayo even at the expense of pinoy personalities. mali pala to write negatively about public figures like artistas, media people, socialites, etc.

we sincerely apologize to everyone we wrote about. madami din kaming na-offend.
