Claudine Barretto: Goodbye ABS-CBN, Hello GMA-7!
It’s final, Claudine Barretto is now a Kapuso! The actress signed a two-year contract with GMA-7, afternoon of November 25, 2009. Claudine said the decision was abrupt and the contract signing happened so fast yet all she has within her now is excitement.
The news about her moving to her then mother network’s greatest rival had been roaming around for quite some time until yesterday. It started when Claudine signed a two-picture contract with GMA films on Oct. 8. The actress shared she was very happy and excited with the projects lined-up by GMA for her. And now that she’s a Kapuso, she can work together with husband, Raymart Santiago.
Claudine had been with ABS-CBN for about 17 years and was one of Star Magic’s top talents. Because of her moving to GMA, her ABS-CBN project with sister Gretchen Barretto will not push through anymore. I wonder what La Greta has to say about this.
