FHM Cover Girls Showdown

Heard from the gravepine that Ehra Madrigal is the Kapuso Network’s possible choice to lead in the remake of “Pinakamagandang Hayop Sa Balat Ng Lupa” . The original was the first movie starrer of Gloria Diaz but Ruffa Guttierez had a movie remake of it. Does Ehra have what it takes to follow their footsteps?

Unlike Ehra, Cristine Reyes is all set to be launched as a Kapamilya star in her series, “Eva Fonda”. The show is also from a remake this time from Alma Moreno who is actually Cristine’s mentor in this soap. Many are awaiting the airing of this teleserye.

And if Ehra will take on a lead role for the first time with the supposed GMA remake, this will definitely a showdown of the remakes with a matching coincidence that both rose to fame as FHM cover girls! Although, Cristine seems to do things first than Ehra. Cristine’s cover stint at FHM was released ahead that of the Lupin alumni.

Now, Ara Mina’s sister has gone ahead too with Eva Fonda which is due for release by July I think. Ehra’s title role is yet to be confirmed and as usual some approved some do not. The role after all is a huge one since it was a blockbuster hit. So is that of Eva Fonda.

With this showdown of remakes, the network war rages on. It will be great if Cristine’s show will be aired in lined with that of Ehra which may have a possible slot in Dramarama of GMA. But with Ligaw na Bulaklak already on that time slot, I don’t think that would be possible.

Both actresses are amateurs in acting, although I sincerely hope that Cristine has improved from all the workshops she has been through before she started taping for Eva Fonda. Ehra is quite the same with Christine in the level of acting and maybe it can be due to her exposures. Let’s just wait and see if their innocent faces and alluring bodies take their careers farther.
