Gerald Anderson Finally Talks About Rumored Break Up with Kim Chiu
In an exclusive interview with Boy Abunda for The Buzz, aired today September 5, Gerald Anderson admits he wanted this interview, something that would be straightforward. And after some time of keeping mum about his rumored break-up with on-screen partner Kim Chiu, Gerald breaks his silence.
Boy opened the interview by asking Gerald, “Are you happy?”
“I’m very happy dahil sa success, dahil sa mga nangyayari sakin…” Gerald responded.
Expecting the conversation to be straightforward, Boy, without a fuss, asked Gerald: “Ano ba ang namagitan o namamagitan sa inyo ni Kim Chiu?”
Gerald recalls that eversince he started his career, he’s been very vocal of how he feels for Kim. “Totoo po, we have a special relationship,” Gerald admitted.
Furthermore, Gerald shared that although they share something special, they are not committed to each other. Upon realizing that they both have to prioritize their respective careers first, they have to sacrifice what they call their “special relationship”.
“Ang dami pa naming kailangan maexplore na kami lang…” Gerald continued.
Boy asked if Gerald was hurt with the rumors that circulated that Kim hurt herself physically because of their break-up.
“Hindi magagawa ni Kim na saktan ang sarili nya,” Gerald answered in Kim’s defense. He also added that Kim is a very bubbly person, very cheerful, and there’s no way she would hurt herself.
Gerald told a bit of his upcoming movie project with Kim under Star Cinema. This will be under the direction of Laurenti Dyogi. This is good news for all Kimerald fans who were enraged with intrigues that Gerald and Kim will no longer be doing projects together, which the actor claimed to be impossible.
Boy brought up the issue involving their solid supporters, the KIMERALD fans. Rumors had it that when the news about Kim and Gerald’s separation spread, their fans would continue to support Kim alone.
“Hindi nagbago ang tingin ko sa kanila. Kung di dahil sa kanila wala ako dito,” was Gerald’s humble response. “…Walang bahay, walang career, walang kotse kung di dahil sa inyo,” he added.
“Do you still love Kim?” Boy asked.
“Of course, I will always care for Kim… She’s like a Chinese angel… she’s so fragile, ang sarap alagaan… She will always be a part of my life,” Gerald concluded.
