GMA Films chooses Lea for Gabby

With the good feedback over the actor’s first project which is the Maalaala Mo Kaya episode last Friday, GMA Films is intent on continuing the camera rolling for Gabby. Of course it will not be with Jolina for they have already began shooting for I.T.A.L.Y.

Nor will it be with Marian Rivera. That is even if she has the highest royalty status in the station. Anyways, she is set to do a movie this year too with Dingdong Dantes and Iza Calzado.

The buzz is that the movie outfit is pursuing Tony awardee Lea Salonga. They have been cooking a scheme to get the internationally acclaimed actress to be Gabby’s leading lady. So, it’s not Marian nor Jolina but rather Lea.

Also, Gabby has finished shooting the controversial Lucida commercial. Wenn Deramas directed the commercial. Let’s watch out for its airing.

Gabby’s appearance in MMK hitched a top 8th place in the ratings on Primetime. This only shows that many are thrilled to see more of one of the prodigal sons of showbiz.
