I am pretty sure that this big fight between Joe Calzaghe and Roy Jones Jr. will be broadcasted semi-live here in the Philippines by CS Sports on RPN 9, although I don’t have any confirmation. Dubbed as the “Battle of the Super Powers,” this fight is a clash between two legends, one from Wales and one from the US, who in their later career still has been getting the fights of their lives.

Joe Calzaghe sports a loss-free record, and while Roy Jones Jr. career came tumbling down with humbling knockouts starting from three years ago, he has worked his way back and last January 2008, he displayed boxing brilliance against one of boxing’s greats in Felix Tito Trinidad.
