KC Concepcion launching album tops Odyssey sales

The present on-screen partner of Richard Gutierrez is making abig name in the singing arena as she leads in the album sales of Odyssey record bars. Already a star by birthright, she continues to rave every aspect if showbiz, starting from stage plays and now also in the recording scene.

Fe Villareal, Ordering Supervisor-Music Category, of Odyssey Music and Video confirmed her successful sales.According to her, the 11-track album of KC became the top-selling album in a span of just three weeks. In fact, 1,102 copies of a.k.a. Cassandra were sold in all Odyssey stores nationwide.

The daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion also recalls how she braved public transportation in order to shoot this music video onboard the LRT (Light Rail Transit) system.

“Galing Santolan papuntang Recto, tahimik lang kaming pumasok sa LRT and may nagtanong sa kin, ‘KC nagko-commute ka rin pala? Saan ang baba mo?’ Nakakatuwa! Di nila napansin na nagsu-shooting kami kasi wala kaming video camera o ilaw o ibang equipment na dala.”

KC performed a mix of English and Tagalog songs in this album and even added a South African song (translated into Tagalog by Joey de Leon) titled “Doo Be Doo.” Her debut album is titled a.k.a.Cassandra because KC’s real name is Maria Kristina Cassandra.
