Mega Daughter Thrice To Be In The Silver Screen

KC Concepcion signed a three-picture deal with Star Cinema today, April 30. “Ang tagal kong hinintay ito. Ngayon, hindi lang isang pelikula kundi tatlo,” she beamed.

Three highly respected directors will direct KC in her films, namely: Joyce Bernal, Chito Rono, and Cathy Perez-Molina.

She also revealed that her first movie will be a light romance which starts filming by the end of May. When asked by the press who her leading man was going to be, KC declined, saying that this will be answered in the coming days. This increased the curiosity of media who tried to analyze KC’s statements.

All she could say was “Ipinaglaban po naming dalawa,” she said,” Hindi po namin ini-expect na posible.” This declaration led to suspicions that the actor being eyed was Richard Gutierrez, who has an exclusive contract with the rival network and has been repeatedly linked to her romantically.

KC said that she intends to make her first film memorable, admitting she and the management did their homework to ensure that people will look forward to it. “Gusto lang namin (ay) meron kaming tanging handog na hindi n’yo pa nakikita, hindi pa nangyayari. Right now, brace yourselves,” she giggled. When asked if she has already made preparations for her first film, KC answered: “Handa na akong maging leading lady.”
