After two years of negotiations, finally the stage play “Cinderella” will push through. And who could be a more perfect choice for a character that has been love by the world than a woman who has been love all throughout the globe? The very proud mother of Nicole, Lea Salonga still looks young as a princess.

Broadway Asia Entertainment chose Lea to be Cinderella in a stage play with the same title. The event will be held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) starting from July 29 up to August 24. They had a prescon for this where Lea was also asked if rumors are true that hubby Rob Chien and the international star have gone seperate ways to which the actress denied.

Our beloved “Ms. Saigon” will have her performances for the said play until April 09. Aside from the Philippines, it will also be shown in other Asian countries such as Taiwan, China, Malaysia, Hongkong, Singapore, Korea and Thailand. The musical is said to worth $2 million in the Manila production. Bobby Garcia will be the director of “Cinderella”. Lea will have to contain her excitement until June when other international stage actors/ actresses will arrive for the rehearsals.
