Miss Mexico Wins Miss Universe 2010; Venus Raj, 4th Runner-Up

She could have done better. She’s already there standing like this year’s winner! Maria Venus Raj is Miss Universe 2010 4th Runner-Up.

This year’s crown went to Miss Mexico, Jimena Navarrete. The top 5 contenders were Mexico, Jamaica (Yendi Phillipps, 1st Runner-Up), Australia (Jesinta Campbell, 2nd Runner-Up), Ukraine (Anna Poslavska 3rd Runner-Up) and Philippines.

Also included in the Top 10 are Albania, Guatemala, ireland, Puerto Rico, and South Africa.

Belgium, Colombia, Czech Republic, France, and Russia, made it to the Top 15.

Best in Swimsuit is Miss Jamaica with a score of 9.426 (Venus Raj ranks third with 8.957).

Best in Evening gown in Miss Mexico with a score of 8.913.

Miss Congeniality is Miss Australia; Miss Photogenic and Best in National Costume is Miss Thailand Fonthip Watcharatrakul.

This is the highest ranking of Philippines since 1999 when Miriam Quiambao won as 1st Runner-Up that year.
