The cast of “My Girl” ’s Philippine version has started taping for their show. The teaser has even been broadcast in Korea already. The residents there are enthusiastic about the local version and we here couldn’t get enough of the recent happenings on the new Kimerald starrer.

It would be remembered that the series, the oroginal one was aired year 2005. It was one of the most well-loved Koreanovelas shown. It’s ratings fluctuated for its unique and funny story. Even in the internet, it is one of the best searched series.

ABS-CBN bought its franchise and that’s how Filipinos will get to see how we interpret it our style. The local on will be much longer and the scenes about Kim’s and Gerald’s family will be broadened so that the viewers will understand them more.

This is the latest looks of Kim and Gerald for the series. Notice how Gerald’s hair was ruined intentionally to match Gong Chan or Julian’s hairdo.Kim on the other hand has her bangs prepped up though this is still temporary as she will still undergo a make-over.

Kim also ha Mandarin lessons as her role require her to be capable of speaking the language. She has a language coach to correct her way of speaking Mandarin. Some of the locations of the shootings for the series will be in Tagaytay, Batangas and Marikina.
