Together they stood, divide they fell. The Headmaster’s List of Ten splits in half as five of them are this week’s probationary scholars. All these and more took place in the 7th Gala and Probation Night.

Tonight’s show was a mixture of surprises and the usuals. Surprising were performance of some scholars who were usually meek in the former gala nights. Yet, the usual is that they were not able to impress the judges still.

Take note, Gerard Salonga wasn’t even there for them to be outwitted or something. Louie Ocampo was accompanied by Ivy Violan and Jimmy Bondoc as guest jurors on this gala night. I disagreed with a whole lot of their decisions as the Dream Mentors did too.

One thing I like in their decision was to make Liezel the Star Scholar this week. She was really great. Laarni should stomach that by now. Anyways, in their showdown, I preferred Poy’s performance than hers.

This week’s probationary scholars were Van, Apple, Miguel, Laarni and Bunny. The latter was saved once again from probation but this time it was due to the Dream Mentors’ decision. Who will be saved by the scholars and know the bottom three in the next coming days.

    Ivy’s comments are vague, jimmy is more sensible and clear, louie as usual is safe, i jst wished gerard was there to just tell the truth…laarni is no doubt a very promising voice!
    poy is obviously too pressured to sing out cz she’s got competition with laarni. poy sings but not great, i’ve heard a lot of voices like that, consistent .

    Between Van and Hansen, I prefer Hansen, magaling siya kesa Van. I do hope that Hansen practices more, to be total packages. Got breeding, gets along with other scholar. Am so happy for him.
    Direct Joey, would you stop bashing on Hansen, mas okey si Hansen kes kay Chris.

    i dont get why si Laarni ang nakaparehas ni Liezel..dapat si Bugy dahil 2 times na rin siyang naging top scholar…i feel something strange sa pda 2 ..parang may favoratism or something na hindi magagaling ang mga teacher..Better ibalik na lang sina Jimmy P at iba pa….

    Psensiya na at hindi ko naintindihan ang sistema ng pilian. ng magkakaparehas sa 7th probation night…im sure kasi na kahit sino pa ang nakaparehas ni Lizel talsik kasi 5 times na siya naging top scholar bukod sa may ibubuga pa siya talaga…Paano ba ang sistema ng pilian at si Laarni ang nakaparehas ni Lizel….maganda na sa yung sistema dati na kung sino ang top 4 na mababa ay siya ang malalagay sa probation pero ngayon pumangit…Dapat palitan na yung mga teacher or director ng PDA2 ..hindi sila magandang gumawa ng sistema….unfair sa ibang scholar.???????????????

    Agree ako kay Mr. Ricky Cruz…nakakagulo ang sistema ng pda2..sa susunod na pda dapat ibalik na yung dati na sina Jimmy P at mga kasama niya…wala namang binatbat yung nakuha sa top 5…bulag ata ang mga teacher at juro..katulad ni Bunny wala naman siya K pero siya pa rin ang nai save ng mga teacher..siguro kamag anak niya ang mga teacher…Dapt kay Mr Cayabyab magturo na lang kanta dahil wala siya sinabi kay Mr Jim Paredes….Isama na rin ni Mr. Cayabyab yung mga kasama niya teacher…alis na kayo sa PDA2

    i agree na c liezl ang mging top scholar.bcoz she works hard for it & purely talented xa. talented rin namn ang ibang scholars,but she shines among them all.

    i agree to announce liezel as a top scholar… it is obviously shows the talent of her na talagang outstanding compare to other scholars. i like laarni din kaya lang pwede ko syang ilagay as 2nd lang to liezel …

    I don’t understand why the mentors have to save Bunny? Performance and grade wise, Laarni is far off better than her. If they do not like Laarni’s attitude inside the academy, then they should include conduct in their criteria in ranking the scholars.

    Yes i agreed that Liezel and Laarni ay magaling compare sa ibang scholar but i dont have idea kung ano ang criteria ng mentor to save the scholar..why Bunny ??????????? Poh is a good singer im pretty sure na marami siya ilalampaso sa top 5 na natira…kawawang Laarni ? tinalo niya si Poh pero siya pa yata ang matatanggal….dapat palitan na ang mga mentor dahil hindi sila marunong tumingin ng magaling….

    galingan mo nlang jan sa loob hwag kanalang paaapikto sa kanila…. trust your talent nalang na binigay ni God sau… basta laarni may tiwala kami sau.. sana di kapa matangal para masaya parin ang panonod namin d2 sa dubai.. God Bless you… sana maging ok naman yong pag ssave ng mga juro at mentor… magaling nman si laarni kaysa kay bunny ah… d kami nakapaniwala na si bunny na save nyo….

    Thanks to all who support Laarni….she got 70%…sana ituloy natin ito hanggang sa huling laban dahil siya naman ang deserving better than Liezel….

    Pero ituloy natin ang pagboto hanggang sa huli dahil obviuos naman na ayaw sa kangya ng mentors imagine siya lang ang binigyan ng pinakamahirap na kanta BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY eh rock un at panlalaki hahahahha…
    Tingnan ninyo naman andali na nga ng song na binigay kay Liezel ay pumiyok pa pero kasama pa rin sa top 3 for top scholar..OMG…..wala na ako masabi sa PDA….nakakatamad na tuloy panoorin buti na lang nandiyan pa si Laarni kasi kung na expel siya WALA NG MANONOOD SA PDA dahil; wala na magaling.
    HOY MGA MENTORS BIGYAN NINYO MAMAN NG MAHIRAP NA KANTA YANG TOP SHCOLAR NINYO NA SI LIEZEL EH PURO PANG MADALI BINIBIGAY NINYO NA ANGKOP SA VOICE NIYA>>>>

    i agree to u mhie grabe nsa buttom 4 n nmn c laarni.. mas magaling b c chris at inaki sknya?? si louie na nagsabi mhrap ang knta nya but she make a fair job.. c inaki?? wla nmn ginawang mganda..pati c van n dinaan nlng sa muka.. dun sa showstopper na theme ng gala wlang ka soshowstopper sa performace ni leizl yet cya padin ang star scholar?? sana d nlng naglagay ng theme every gala night kung d din dun pagbabasihan… wlang kwenta.. ang galing galing ni laarni eh…..

    Why not pakanta kay Liezel or Bugoy or anybody ang BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY..lets see if he/she can make it that song…I really sure Liezel can NOT sing that song o kahit sino pa sa scholar ..i can bet kung sino man ang gusto…..im not mayabang but i worked abroad and i want to challenge anybody even the mentors ????????????????? just let me know dahil kahit personal appearance lalaban ako kung sino ang may gusto….ANYBODY ????

    mayabang ka rin ano para kang engot nagbubuhat ka ng sarili mong paa,, jajaja nakakatawa ka bakit pagkanta ba ng bohemian rhapsody ang sukatan para masabing magaling ang isang taong kumanta, yan lng ba ang alam mong kantahin…. kahit magbayad ka pa siguro ng taong makikipagharap saung kantahin yang sinasabi mong yan walang papahag………..
    hindi magsasayang ang mentors ng oras sau noh….whuahaha mangarap ka,,,,
