No One Gets Left Behind

The last batch among those who went to the final casting consisted of outstanding children who in one way or another have been a blessing to their respective families. Who were able to make it and did anyone had their last performance that time?

Apple was the first to perform in front of the jurors Ryan Cayabyab, Direk Joey Reyes and Teacher Kitchy Molina. Her unique family background was already an asset. To think that she has two biological parents, two lesbian mothers and seven gay godfathers! Still, I think it was her voice got her a chance to be a scholar.

The nest one was Catherine also fondly called “Poy”. Her voice quality was good but her song choice was not. Plus, she has no star appeal. I will bet she will not last that long in the reality show. We don’t need another Panky Trindad. Thank you very much.

The third one in the group to show her singing prowess was Consuelo. This vocalist at night is really admirable as she is the breadwinner of her family. I admire her for her honesty because she admitted that she has a cyst in her vocal chords. To think that she risked her chance to get inside the academy for that. Good thing she made it.

The last but not definitely not the least was Ross. All manly in form and voice he captured the attention of the judges immediately. He is really a total package. Yummy! I, like the Dream team jurors, was also touched with their crying scene backstage.
