The four wait listers had almost a day to prove how much support they do have when the voting for the 16th scholar began last night. The people have decided and Jet or Ranjit Singh gets to take the vacant slot of Maria Consuelo Osorio.
Meanwhile the scholars weren’t given an immediate rest after the Dream Night show ended. With Teacher Monet inside, they immediately went to a series of tasks. First the groupings were announced.
There would be two groups and the first members of each were the wedded couple, Chivas and Bunny. They had a bat toss and the one to hold the last part would have the chance to choose first who she wants to be a co-member. Bunny chose Apple while Chivas chose Van.
This went on until all the scholars had their respective groups. Both groups were given 10 minutes to think of their group name and cheer. After their cheers, they had their first competition which is the glass xylophone where they have to put in the right measurement of the liquid a champagne glass so that they will sound the do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do tune.
The Pupilars won in this contest because according to Teacher Monet the sound in their glass arrangement. This is Jet’s first night in the house and let’s see how the jock alumni fares with the first 15 scholars.

Although last years’ winners were quite mediocre(no real talent!) I’m so happy to see a lot of potentials this year. It just saddens me that that the scholars are voting for fellow scholars not because of their actual talent(voice quality especially) but for their demeanor in the house. This is not about competition for popularity(or so I thought)I thought it’s about molding people that has the voice to eventually be recording artist etc..no matter what their status in life is.Please lay off Laarni, you just don’t know how hard it is for some people to socialize and given 1 week(how judgemental!)As for Bea,it’s a little mean but what is she doing there with her karoake style singing? She can afford her own voice lessons, give others a chance. And Christian, I know where he’s coming from but he doesn’t have the voice either.Jet is plain mean spirited! He has to be reminded to be less abusive.Good luck to the ones with talent. For Laarni, keep going with your calling-might not be in this environment but I’m sure the Malate Church Choir appreciates you.GODSPEED!
