It seems after “Iisa Pa Lamang” star Angelica Panganiban and boyfriend Derek Ramsey put an end to the break-up rumors hounding them these past few weeks, the rumor was transmitted to another long-time couple in showbiz. This time, its Concert Queen Pops Fernandez and actor Jomari Yllana on the spotlight. Is the rumor true?

In a May 2006 magazine interview, Jomari revealed that he considered Pops as a very special person in his life. “Number one, friend ko siya. Number two, special din siya. So, puwede na sa akin yung special friend,”he said. Months after the interview, rumors about their relationship being on the rocks surfaced, but Pops was quick to refute the gossip.

There was also a story about Pops and Joms having a big fight after Jomari was spotted dancing with a non-showbiz girl during a night-out in Davao City. Pops also made it to the headlines when she was seen solo in Boracay, admitting later on that she was just with her assistant, Yolly. Pops also shared then that they had not been seeing each other because of work and out-of-town commitments.

This time, the two have reportedly really put an end to their relationship. But that is yet to be confirmed as the couple is currently together in Japan. But still, the couple will need to clarify the issue once they return.
