Ramiele Malubay elimination on American Idol 7

American Idol has closed its doors for 19 year old Ramiele Malubay as she got booted out in the show’s latest eviction last April 03. The “small girl with a big voice” as said in her last song crossed the minds of judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul but sadly on the negative side. The seventh Filipino to make it to the show, Malubay faced controversies twice as big as her height.

As much as the Florida based teener wowed the world she also ignited bombs of negative publicity some of which are from her native land. Blogs in the net worlwide shouted how technical her voice could be and so unlike fellow Filipina, Jasmine Trias, she failed to continue her American Idol Journey. The competition had really been using his best chum, Danny’s expression “TMTH” as in too much too handle.

Despite all of these, Ramiele’s star has not lost its spark especially in the hearts of her “kababayans”. Speculations have it that a giant network is out to get the finalist for a contract here in our country. If these is true, let us all welcome this mini-diva who has in her own tiny way even for a little while made the Filipinos proud.
