Rosanna Roces Says Sorry, ABS-CBN Asks Issuance of TRO for Showtime
Controversial actress Rosanna Roces finally asked for apology after Showtime got a 20-day suspension from MTRCB due to her rude remarks on teachers in Showtime’s Jan.7 episode.
Rosanna Roces announced her apology on TV Patrol World, Jan. 12, and said she was saddened that Showtime had to be suspended for 20 days because of her. She further stated that ABS-CBN had already imposed “self-regulation” on her even before MTRCB filed the suspension on the show.
Moreover, she extend her gratitude to the Kapamilya network for allowing her to apologize for the consequences brought by her harsh comments and that the management never left her alone in this controversy.
But despite Rosanna’s move to ask for apology, many teachers are still giving out comments on the actress’ rude words and behavior. Though they are expressing that Showtime does not deserve the 20-day suspension and that the network’s move to pull out Rosanna from Showtime’s jury was enough.
Regarding this, ABS-CBN already asked the Court of Justice for a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO).
