Gives up hosting stint

Despite the first press release that Ryan Agoncillo will host the comeback of Pinoy Dream Academy on its second season, Ryan gets to be replaced by singer Billy Crawford. Was this because of his recent guesting on the rival netwrok?

Judy Ann Santos’ current flame works under a per project contract. Meaning he can still accept other projects from other networks. His respect towards ABS-CBN who has really honed him from a host to a credible actor makes him prioritize the projects the station offers to him. So the rumored reason to why he has been sacked out of the reality show remains to be hazy.

But as sources from the network confirmed, it’s not due to Juday’s recent conflict with the Kapamilya network. The truth is, the schedule of PDA’s start on TV is met with conflict to his taping of his new teleserye, PIETA. Anytime soon the will start the story conference for the said show.

Plus, he and his lady love will have a comedy sitcom still on the said station due this year. The said show will be aired during the weekends, In the said case, Ryan’s got his hands full with acting jobs already. So, he may not get to do what he wants to do this year which is focus on his hosting career.

He has lost the Pinoy Idol hosting to Raymond Gutierrez, now PDA is also out of his hands. Ryan’s fans are not giving hope though. They are positive that if ever shows like “Fear Factor” will have its Pinoy version, Ryan will still be the best man for the job.
