Lawsuit climbs into a higher level

The fiscal of Manila Trial Court sided over Sam Milby and Pilo Pascual as they found cause to file a case against columnist Lolit Solis. This is the libel casethat rooted from the article written by Manay Lolit in Pilipino Star Ngayon.

The editor of the said tabloid Veronica Samio was also sued. The article was about the alleged “sweetness” of the two actors. According to the actors’ attorney, the write-up is malicious for it implies that Sam and Piolo are gays.

This is just the beginning of the said court drama. Libel cases usually last for about four years or so. Despite the siad result, Lolit’s camp has not revealed their next action. They might file for a motion for reconsideration or wait for the result of thek next level whixh will have the case be taken to lower court. That is another episode so no one is sure what will happen next.
