ABS-CBN paid tribute to the one and only King of Comedy, Dolphy, as he turns 80! At the Meralco theater became the venue of celebration last Thursday.Celebrities flocked the event to share the moment with Pidol.

The show was rammed with performances from the biggest singers and stars like Sarah Geronimo, Erik Santos, Christian Bautista, Rachel Ann Go, Iya villania, Vhong Navarro, comedians Aiai delas Alas, Pokwang, Vice Ganda, Chokoleit and Pooh.

Famous showbiz personalities such as Sharon Cuneta, Willie Revillame, Eddie Gutierrez and wife Anabelle Rama, ex-prexy Joseph Estrada with son Senator Jinggoy Estrada, Susan Roces, Nova Villa, Roderick Paulate, Daisy Romualdez, Celia Rodriguez, Gina Pareno, Mother Lily Monteverde, German Moreno, Manay Ichu.

The bigwigs of the Kapamilya station were also there. ABS-CBN top execs owner Gabby Lopez III, President Charo Santos-Concio, SVP Cory Vidanes commemorated history with the Comedy King.

Remember how Pilar did a tell-all book but managed to deliver only a quick and undetailed survey on her lovers? Well, another celebrity hits the pages with his biography!And its none other than the King of Comedy himself, Dolphy. The question is will it have the same slashed version like Pilar’s?

It is no secret that the famous comedian has a very controversial lovelife. That is a mean fact whether his girlfriends may be in showbiz or not. And so in his tell-all book “Hindi Ko Ito Narating Mag-Isa” what more can you expect?

According to project manager Eric Quizon, each chapter will be controversial. Former girlfriends Lotis Key and Pilar Pilapil agreed to be interviewed. This was written by Bibeth Orteza to celebrate Dolphy’s 80th birthday. But not all former women of the local film clown cooperated in the said venture.

This was because ex-girlfriend Alma Moreno, Vandolph?s mother, refused to be interviewed for the book, there will be no portion about their steamy love affair. Alma was Dolphy?s girlfriend before her current long-time relationship Zsa Zsa Padilla.

The book launch will be held on July 23, two days before his actual birthday on July 25. Dolphy never married any of the five women with whom he has a total of 18 children.
