Finally, we get to see a rematch of the USA vs Spain Basketball game in the Basketball Finals today, a match which has already transpired in pool play but did not get much coverage here in the Philippines. Pau Gasol, Marc Gasol and Ricky Rubio go against the Redeem Team with Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, and Dwayne Wade and Spain tries to avenge their 37-point loss on their way to defending their World Championship crown back in 2006. But, to the delight of many USA and NBA fans, this game today is just a formality and the Redeem Team is expected to take home the gold medal in their final game today at Beijing.

I’m watching this game in part because of talented 17 year old Spaniard Ricky Rubio, who has shown outstanding passing and defensive skills in their games at Beijing.
