Willie Revillame, the next FPJ?

Future Presidentiable?

With Willie’s obviously immense popularity among the Filipino mass, it is not impossible for him to be compared to the former King of Filipino Movies. But where does the similarity ends? Will the Wowowee host follow the same path as that of Susan Roces’ better half?

Willie has his own style of helping and sharing his belssings and this is not done always with the media showering attention on it. He has been a big help to many in the industry yet no one can attest that the top rated noontime variety show host has been a braggart for it. Nor have anyone stood up and said that Willie expected something in return for his generosity.

With the scarcity of the movies being produced, majority of the characters and comedians approached Willie in need of his assistance. He is aware that these people are the breadwinners of their own respective families. This is why he doesn’t think twice on lending a helping hand whenever the need arises to.

This natural inclination to be of help to many is a similar trait of Fernando Poe Jr. It was a public knowledge that FPJ was a strong bet during the 2004 presidential elections because he was kind especially to the needy. Right, Madame Gloria?

If Willie will run for public office this coming 2010 elections, he will surely win. His innate kindness builds up a good character that most politicians lack or better yet lose when they occupy their seats.
