Robert James Reid flew in with his dad from Australia and continue his studies here in the Philippines. After having quite a hard time in a regular school, James was enrolled to a distant-learning center. James is your typical boy next door with a charming good look yet struggles to overcome his shyness.

He finds it a hard time talking in front of many people and opening himself up to others but his weeks of stay inside the PBB house seemed to have helped him develop his interpersonal skills. Because of his mysterious image, the viewers (especially young girls) got hooked with James and eventually started rooting for him.

James got linked to three of his housemates – Tricia, Devon, and Ann. The dashing 17 year-old Aussie said it’s Ann who has the coolest personality. James and Ann’s supporters call themselves Team JamLi (Li is Ann’s family name).

After being the most voted teen housemate of the season, James said in his The Buzz interview that he would try showbiz for some more experiences to gain. Will he survive the colorful yet challenging world of showbiz?

The Queen of all Media, Kris Aquino, finally admitted her marriage with PBA Superstar James Yap is over. Yesterday, on her last day as co-host of The Buzz, Kris reveals the true status of her relationship with the cager.

The couple had been dealing with much publicized marital problems for the past five years. After trying to make things work over and over again, Kris said “with finality” that she has given up. A blog report says James commented that the separation was not fueled up by a third party and says it was “a family thing”.

In an exclusive interview with Boy Abunda for June 20 episode of The Buzz, JL boldly and straightforwardly answered all the intrigues thrown at him.

On Sarah Geronimo

Lloydie denied making Popstar Princess Sarah G, wait for him to court her. In this interview, this is the only question that John Lloyd did not answer directly. “Mataas ang respeto natin sa katotohanan at gusto ko lang sya iwanan na may respeto sa kanya at sa magulang nya. Kung ano man ang importanteng katotohanan, e, sapat na na alam nya at alam ko nang katotohanan.”

On Ruffa Gutierrez

Is it true that he did not pursue Sarah G because of Ruffa? John Lloyd responded, “Hindi totoo.”

Then Boy Abunda asked, “Nagkaroon ba kayo ng relasyon ni Ruffa Gutierrez?” And after a long time since this issue came up, he finally admitted with this frank response: “Yes, it was a very special relationship.”

When asked if Ruffa and Shaina were involved with him at the same time, Lloydie answered a plain “No”.

On Shaina Magdayao

John Lloyd said that he had a man-to-man talk with Shaina’s ex-flame John Prats when this allegedly love triangle issue started affecting the actress’ name.

The Kapamilya actor cleared issues that John P and Shaina’s chapter has ended when he entered the scene and that he did not snatch the actress from the Dancefloor Dynamite.

So is Shaina his new girlfriend?

“Yes, it’s us,” Lloydie confirmed with a beaming grin.

Pinay singing sensation, Charice, will join the cast of America’s favorite musical-comedy series, Glee. Charice will play the role of an exchange student (a Pinay, of course) with such powerful voice to ‘terrorize’ last season’s diva, Rachel (played by Lea Michele). This is exciting! I’m such a fan of the series and it would be cool to have another Asian on the cast.

Last month, Charice’s joining Glee was pre-empted by her manager here in the Philippines, Grace Mendoza when she spilled out that Charice will be part of the hit US series and Golden Globe awardee. It was true but Charice’s US handler Marc Johnston was dismayed with the early announcement made by Mendoza.

And through Entertainment Weekly, with Charice herself giving the good news through her Twitter account, this confirmation just excites us all. Especially the Gleeks as me!

PBB Teen Clash of 2010 is now on its last two weeks. After Tricia got evicted from the PBB House, the remaining three Pinoy teens – Ivan, Fretzie, and Devon – has sure spots on the Big Night.
